Hi folks,

I'm looking for someone who speaks Swedish to help me.  I would like the Swedish translation of weasel - i.e. what would be weasel be in swedish if there were a swedish aircraft called the weasel?  I think it would be vessla, but am not sure - after all the Draken is supposed to be swedish for dragon, but when I search, I'm told that swedish for dragon is actually drake.  So what is with the 'n' on the end? - should I use vesslan or something similar?

Regards,

Greg

Yes your right, it's vessla.

And yes dragon = drake, draken is only the defined form. I.e. draken = the dragon.

As this is what's been used for all types (Viggen, Lansen, Tunnan etc.) I'd think that, if vessla is the name you'd want, then vesslan is the form you should choose.
