Thanks for the link.
The text says: "(...) approximately 40% of the aircraft discussed and illustrated will not have appeared in the original series. For many, it was the illustrations, which made such an impact when Luftwaffe Secret Projects was first published (...)"
So it seems it is an updated "Luftwaffe Secret Projects" - as I have this book, I am not sure I will buy the new one and discard the old one...
Too bad, it seems there are 2 twin-boomers among 5 planes on the cover, which is promising... :)
[the word "realistic" hurts my heart...]

Mike do you know if this is the translation from books origionally published in Germany ? Artwork on the cover looks very familiar to one reviewd in SAM a year or so ago.

Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

it says

"© Ingolf Meyer 2004, 2006
first published 2004 in Germany by Ingolf Meyer
translation from original German text by Ted Oliver
English language edition published 2006 by Midland Publishing"

I will now have a look through & see what's different from the previous ones...

Mike Wren

it looks as though much of the artwork is new, although some is based on the previous books, but the general style of the previous books remains, i.e. a colour painting, B/W line drawing, a basic specification & a paragraph or 2 of info
