Take a Lancaster.
Cut off the wings outboard of the engine nacelles. Clean up the edges and block them in with card.
Add outer wing panels in a bat-shape, flexibly mounted to flap.
Cool.
Standard RAF finish, but a "Vampire" squadron.
Love it.
Need a Lancaster.....I'll get one cheap somewhere. :dum:    :dum:    :dum:

In fact I could do it to any decent-sized 4-engined aircraft.
I've not got a Lancaster, but I do have a Heller Constellation that can be suitably butchered....Nosferatu Maritime recon, eh?
Irish Air Corps?

Great picture , Jon. Just the sort of thing.....you see, there IS documentation for most of these things.

Does Tetleys still exist?
It says on the tin :

" Brewed in England by Carlsberg-Tetley "

And it doesn't taste like Coors !

I'd shudder to think what you'd come up with from the lingerie shop.  It's probably where you get all those pink ideas.  :P
