Cool, you and Eddie must have gone to the same school of thought.  Very good ideas!

Would it not be more expedient to start from scratch to recreate some of these concepts or is it simply more fun and satisfying for you to restore the old kits?  I know that most building renovations cost more and take longer than restarting from beginning.

JHM, thats the very question I'm wrestling with at the moment! The Fury monoplane will be a straightforward restoration, no probs (maybe adding a cantilever undercarriage). But the  with Osprey I'm thinking about a mid life update and refining the design, I made that one over 15 yearsa ago and I'm sure there's much I would tackle differently now.
