QuoteI've got a link to a company that produces 1:144 scale models of Russian warships, including carriers. I'll post the link when I get home. Beware of sticker shock, though.
Link at last. They produce both the Kiev and Kuznetsov in 1:144.

Nice but I see that their scale size equates nicely with cost of actual subject vessel (i.e. model costs about 1/144th cost of the real thing)!!!!!

Styrene in my blood and an impressive void in my cranium.

Verry nice ships over there, ive love to get the Kuznetsov and the Kiev, but its a little to pricey for my wallet. maybe converting (à la scale-o-rama) a revell 1/350 scale carrier into a 1/144 scale "invincible type" (or Kiev Type) aircraft carrier with a ski-jump would be much cheaper  B)

anyhow, back on topic. ive currently prepared a new tail and canopy for a 3rd version (possible export version). what country livery it will carry, who knows

Nice planes and as for the name thing "Flamer" might be a bit suspect , but then again they did designate  a Mig as Faggot.

I invite all and any criticism, except about Eric The Dog, it's not his fault he's stupid

I've often wondered if that was a Brit's idea or a Yanks ? After all to one it's something you eat and to the other its something you !!!!!!!

Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

Cool "Flamers" Nils, keep them coming

as i posted a while earlier, i had parts ready for a 3rd version, here it is.

its the Mig-32bis (rebuild from the Mig-32 prototype (red 36)), a land based export version of the naval variant posted earlier.
it is painted in this 3-tone camo sheme, to lure such export customers in Asia, Australia and South America. its a dowgraded version of the Mig-32K and comes with 2 extra pylons under each wing, and comes without the IRST and other various avionics (stripped down to lower the unitprice to sell it to 3rd world countries) but can be refitted to the demands of the customer.
