Ballarat show was today.
I entered some builds, didn't win anything but thats not why I go and I had a good day catching up with people.
Buzzbomb was briefly there.

Here are a couple of Whiffy things.

It's not whiffy but  particularly liked this diorama.

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.  Revelling in numptytism.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed, badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry.

Some nice stuff there, thanks mate

Next year's special theme is "Holiday".
My aim is to drag my scratchbuilt 1/25 Winnebago from the coffee table of doom and finally complete it after more than 10 years of procrastination.

Nice photo set, Fred!

A couple of those builds (cars) I remember from the 2025 SA Plastic Model Expo.

This one reminds me that I have a couple of builds that need to be finished off;

"We're all going on a Summer Holiday!" (plus the rest of the song ... sort of) shouted by a dozen pissed probationary Police Constables in Darwin, 20th October 1984 ... Ah, those were the days!  ;D  ;D

Revell did a Routemaster bus at 1/24,  kit number 07651  (but expensive), or one could update to a New Routemaster  Airfix clip together J6050 at about £20.     If you want to back in time, the 1/32 Airfix B type / Old Bill bus might be interesting.

But to be 'Authentic' you'd need an AEC RT, maybe someone does a conversion kit for the Routemaster?

Some really great stuff there Fred, thanks for the link.
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

do all 3 ( or 4) make it a family tradition thing,  and it will confuse the heck out of some.

take off and nuke the site form orbit, nope, time for the real thing, CAM and gridfire, call special circumstances.

And there's me thinking it was purely a UK film/song. I didn't realise it had travelled.

My memory of "singing" it is Torquay 1970 when our rendition of it was not appreciated by a couple of the local coppers

I don't think too many people appreciated our attempt, either ... But we were the coppers!
