Ballarat show was today.
I entered some builds, didn't win anything but thats not why I go and I had a good day catching up with people.
Buzzbomb was briefly there.

My aim is to drag my scratchbuilt 1/25 Winnebago from the coffee table of doom and finally complete it after more than 10 years of procrastination.

"We're all going on a Summer Holiday!" (plus the rest of the song ... sort of) shouted by a dozen pissed probationary Police Constables in Darwin, 20th October 1984 ... Ah, those were the days!

Revell did a Routemaster bus at 1/24,  kit number 07651  (but expensive), or one could update to a New Routemaster  Airfix clip together J6050 at about £20.     If you want to back in time, the 1/32 Airfix B type / Old Bill bus might be interesting.

But to be 'Authentic' you'd need an AEC RT, maybe someone does a conversion kit for the Routemaster?

And there's me thinking it was purely a UK film/song. I didn't realise it had travelled.

My memory of "singing" it is Torquay 1970 when our rendition of it was not appreciated by a couple of the local coppers

I don't think too many people appreciated our attempt, either ... But we were the coppers!
