Nice one Kit - I think I'd go mad trying ot do 1/144th fighters.

Silly-looking or not, the inboard pylons were always fitted because they weren't jettisonable, because they were wired for WE.177s. Can't risk scattering the guts of a tac nuke across the innocent voters of the home counties just because you accidentally hit the pylon eject switch...

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.  Revelling in numptytism.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed, badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry.

I nearly did.  ;D

This is the only pic I've found that shows a SHAR with the pylons but without the tanks. It surprised me as I'd figured they'd have fitted the tanks for the QRA task aboard the Atlantic Conveyor,  but seemingly not.

It looks like my 'Royal Navy' script should have been in pale blue or similar, but it wouldn't have shown up if I did. Anyway, that makes the Tiny SHAR a Whiff.  ;D
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Regards
Kit

Admire your perseverence Kit
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

Looks good - and unlike the B-2, a handsome reward for your perseverance!

Pylon without tank is fine, it's the pylon itself that can't be detached. They sometimes carried Sea Eagles on the inboard pylons, but the pylons themselves were never not there.
