The CH-53 Sea Stallion was a contender for the Sea King HC.4 Commando and HAS.1.

Looks "right"

I wonder what its FAA name would have been ?
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

They may have stuck with 'Sea Stallion', but it doesn't sound very 'British' does it?

Going with the alliteration started by the Wessex, how about 'Winchester'?
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

The name Commando appears a lot in the 'The Admiralty and the Helicopter ' James Jackson,  ProjectTech Profiles.

But Commando works for the tasking of the Sea King HC4, and the Captain's CH-53 is an SAR bird.

Well on the other hand, "Sea Stallion" is no worse than "Sea King" is it?

If you want something horse-related but with more of a link to Britain, how about "Westland Epona"? Epona was a Celtic horse-goddess.
