I'd hate to think of how many half-builts I've got, but when you do finish them after a long gap, it's sometimes more satisfying that way
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

Good thing Nev.

I just bought a big tube of auto glazing putty today in preparation of the big Spit.

Speaking of big...I was thinking about grabbing that giant Airfix Sea Harrier kit...anybody seen it ? Is it any good ? And worth the $100 or so dollars ?

I read a truly less-than-stellar review in one of the UK-based mags awhile back.
SAM---SAMI (whatever).  One of those "shell" kits that take an awful lot of aftermarket parts to make up for what's lacking, especially considering the scale it's in.

I'd wait for Trumpeter to release one----it's gotta just be a matter of time!    ^_^

That the AV-8B in 1/32 scale Ollie not the SHAR1 in 1/24.

As for upgrades Heritage do a number of resin upgrades for the Harrier. Intakes, wheels, Cockpit etc.

You actually get the original GR-1 kit and the additional sprues to make the Sea Harrier . Got both the GR-3 and SHAR in the loft - great decal sheets, but possibly some fit issues arrond the enging cover/wing join. Still a nice kit for the scale.

(thought you would have prefered a Kuznetsov for that ammount of dosh !!!)

My comment was in response to Todd's mention of a "giant" Harrier by Airfix, which I assumed must have meant the 1:24 version.
