Indeed, could be said that it is the definition of a "Kit Bash"
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

Definitely one of the most eclectic combinations for a kit bash I've seen for quite some time!

Yes, because with the Soviets/Russians, even more-so than the Americans, everything has to be BIGGER!

So much so that their Zubr class hovercraft is just INCHES larger than an SRN4 in every dimension. How petty can they get?

But they're not as quick.
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

Yeah, but they're still operational and the full load weight is 235 tons greater than that of the SRN-4 Mk.III.
They're also very different and designed for a different purpose. They share the Achilles Heel of all hovercraft, especially large heavy ones, skirt wear. To date, no one has been able to find a material to address the long term durability issue. Skirt replacement is very expensive.

Of course, they're newer, designed for a different purpose and Government funded.

Excellent work! It looks very Russian to me.
Superb use of spare parts. Considering the cost of kits it's a great idea.

Picking up on Ratty's earlier post, it's looking Beriever and Beriever with each update. 👍

I am looking forward to seeing this one when finished David, what a kitbash and a half it is. It looks very much like a Beriev indeed, as I have just had a look at the be10 kit I have, which is also going to be a SARO aircraft, and the similarity is right up there.
