Beautiful !

Just lovely, both of 'em ! Love the look of Phantoms in EDSG w/ RN markings, as well as the British 1000 pounder bombs......

And the Harrier, I'm out of the loop on the AV-16, aside form what Thorvic said earlier, but it look just like a camo FA2 to me !

Mmmm...harriers..........

well almost Todd. the nose is off the Italeri SHAR1 with everthing aft of the intakes  from and AV-8B, with the SHAR 1 fin and tail planes bolted on. this was the basic version for the project....some of the later ideas are way out of my skills.

The AV-8B kind off stems from the AV-16, as the British government lost interest, so Macair took the project on and hey presto AV-8B.
I always hope for the best.

experience has taught me to expect the worst.

At this rate you'll have to replenish the stash in about 2 months !

Love the Aquilon - what nationality will she be ? The obvious Swiss or ?

Chris
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

Ah, the amount of modelling you can do when you don't have wife & kids.   I remember those days....

JMNs may shout: "the Aquilon is French not Swiss! ask Google Pictures!"
As I am not nationalistic at all, they will show this was a twin-boomer to get my support...

Though the Swiss one was very beautiful too, and this model of it is a pure beauty. It was never mass produced and that is good, otherwise it would not be a What-if pearl specially for us...

Been reading up on the N-20 Aiguillon (spelt correctly!) and it's rather interesting. The Arbalete was a small 3/5th scale tester with 4 small engines (a nice design itself) as well as the prototype now in museums. Not sure if there are two, one outside and one inside, or if the outside pole-mounted one was later brought inside?

I'd like to see more of the P-16 as What-Ifs!

I'm impressed Martin - I got three finished over the weekend and thought I'd done well. The Tempest looks good - will definately make some people look twice

Thanks for this beautiful Tempest 1, so rare, so beautiful without the huge nose-scoop that destroyed her face (on mass-produced sisters)...

QuoteDid you use the Tempest 1 conversion bits I gave you Martin or is that the Ventura conversion kit?

Should have used Beaumont's markings though, or possibly Jensen.  Closterman is done far too often.
nope still got that safely tucked away lee.    I used an old LF conversion i found in a bargin bin on the Kingkit stand at cosford many moons ago. The model was one of my long term hanger queens, i started it at least 3 years ago...and Clostermann....only tempest decals I had going spare at the time.
