QuoteWow, love the 2 Phantoms Martin, especially like the way you've shown us how what you've changed on the F-4HL.  However I can't help but think "I wonder how JHM would have gone about it"  :D
Heh, heh-----Mine wouldn't be nearly so well organized or efficient as Martin's, that's for sure!!!  My "tao of modeling" always seems to end up requiring a team of engineers and at least one psychologist by the time I'm done.

Looking very cool, Martin!  Now, throw in a T-Tail and have yet another variant to throw people off: some authentic, some not!

QuoteVery nice indeed.
Love the Phantom re-works.
:P
And I've just "discovered" an Emhar Demon in the loft!! RN of course!
:P
Might be fun to take a Demon and an inexpensive Phantom kit and do one of the intermediate steps between the two.  *G* I keep thinking an AH-1 would look nice in USN markigns.

Cool, a Miles M-20 and a Boomerang!

The Henschel is obviously the aircraft that the Bloodhawk in Crimson Skies was based on. Which kit is that as I have an urge to do a few CS aircraft?

Cheers

I thought it was an M20 as well, but somehow the undercoat made it look different.

The only Henschel P75 kit I know of is the Alliance resin one

Chris
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

Martin H

Yep the P75 is the Aliance kit
and the Miles will be in an in service scheme

QuoteIs the FW a Unicraft horror?
Yep sure is Lee.  Mind U it went together quite well, considering how rougth it looked when I opened the box for the first time. But forget the decals that came with it...the go on ok, but the crosses were way to small.

Martin,

Love the F-4HL.  It has me twitching to build one and mark it up serving aboard HMS Victorious.

Where are the plans from?

Cheers

The last pic is just to show the size difernce between the F-4HL and a standard FGR-2/F-4M.
I always hope for the best.

Your Henschel is confirmed great   Congratulations...
Your Flying Pancake is lovely too  ...
(these are my favourites, I do not mean the other are bad :(  :) )

What did you do to get 10 hours in the loft ? Fart at the dinner table ? :P

I've always thought, that if they'd known better all Rhinos after the K and M would've had Speys. IIRC, the main reason they didn't was, that it was slower than the J79 birds. Acceleration, initial climb and SFC were better. Sounds like an F-14B/D vs. F-14A.

Apart from not haveing its Sparrows yet, the F-4HL only needs a coat or two of klear . She now has the markings of 892 sqn FAA (had sea vixens). Not sure what ship yet LOL.

And one ive been keeping quiet about..built this last year, but buggered up the paint job (grey was the wrong one). So ive finaly redone the paint job and hung some things that go bang under the wings. Its the HS AV-16 project for those who havent guessed. And its 4 sqn RAF in the late 1970's, early 1980's
