Thanks BlackOps, it is in the 3ft class  :D up close its a bit lumpy here and there, but it is all a learning curve,as long as the next is a little more refined than the last.

Quoteas i said in an earlier post i am just stunned at the way this thing has gone together!! the fit was so good that  the seam lines were sanded back with 800 wet/dry then i was able to polish them with tooth paste to get a perfect invisiable join.
Yep, this incredible fit is what Leigh had reported on his, too.
My own Academy MiG 21's fit was so bad I've almost given up on it since.

Wonder if I should pull another one out of the stash?  Can it be that different from one injection to another?  I know there were more than one variant put out by Academy in 1:48.  Mine was the PF variant, I think.  Nothing was warped on mine, either---just all sorts of very visible gaps where things were supposed to come together.  And I'm not even that picky about joints (like to think of them as panel-lines needing no further attention whenever possible!).

Yours is looking fantastic.  Mine...not so much.  These pics were after I had already done all the worst PSR and moved to the second, thinner stage with Bondo's Glazing Putty:

Wow ! Mr HowlingMouse, that does'nt look too good, tho certainly not beyond hope,
I know a couple of people who have built this kit and they were impressed with the fit ,which was what tempted me to do one.what was the rest of the moulding like? every thing nice and sharp?..wonder if its a last shift friday thing?

Yeah, overall it was a great kit for crisp, sharp detail.  No warpage.  I'm a big fan of Italeri.  While some complain their surface details are overdone, I find them just right in order to hold up to my hamhanded glue, PSR, and painting.

And sanding this one was like some styrene exercise in masochism since every possible thing on the plane is so sharp.    Sand-sand, OUCH!  Sand-sand, what the----?

At any rate, I remain in awe, especially of your cockpit.  I had thought mine was "okay" but now, it's as if we are building in two very different scales: you in 1:32 and me in 1:72!!!  Heh, heh.  Next time!
