yep its real, it was one of several photos of the -119 in various guises published in a number of references over the last 50 years.

Remove the wings completely, add a large dorsal fin, remove the vertical stab, add a couple of stubby fin 'armlets' and paint the thing up as an Orca!   Someone did that in Seattle to the Airfix Rotodyne and it turned out awesome; the Heinkel could also so serve, eh?  B)  B)  B)


Back into aviation:

How about a Hurricane Hunter like the EC-121 (designation correct, yes???)!   All turrets and barbs removed and that large hump on the back.    The He-111 could carry that shape quite decently.   :wub:
