Oh yes, what a stupid question of mine! :D
Better one: Gekko1, why are you in love with gekkos rather than other animals like birds (or snakes or mustangs)?

My favorite one is the Orange Gekko One...
Just two extra questions:
- why a lizard or salamander on the fin? personal totem?
- for what role do you imagine a civilian Lightning? the story around it would double the value of your creation... :) what is in this big belly? extra tanks? why supersonic without passengers? etc...
Hi Tophe,

The lizard is actually a Gecko and is the company logo of my decal company Gekko Graphics (www.gekkographics.com.au). Gekko also means 'full moon' in Japanese. To add to the confusion Gecko can also be correctly spelt Gekko....confused yet?

I originally did the two civilian schemes to get them out of my head as I woke up one morning and they were the first things I thought of. B)

As for a story for "Gekko 1", that's simple, I use it to fly to model shows all around the world. Any models that I want to display at these comps I store in the specially modified belly section. My wife and kids fly in the "Gekko 2" tanker aircraft.............ummmmmmm........now there's another idea???....ummmmm????

Cheers

Wonderful story, thanks! :D  A cargo load as room for plastic models! So this is the first Lightning as mother plane I ever heard of - the plastic baby planes being unable to fly, like human babies are unable to walk yet :D
This is even better than the Cameron P-51G whose belly room (without air intake) was a luggage compartment (for so sad suitcases, not airplane models... :( )
Thanks again, dear! :)

PS. I will visit your own site, in case some decals may interest me, outside the military/commercial universe, just smiles and dreams...
