1/48 An-2M Colt in Czech markings

Humbrol used to do a tin of "Royal Stewart" tartan paint.........product No 997.  I can't remember the other tartans they did,  Kit might know.

One may be old(ish) & Australian, but one is not stupid! 

Only if you paint it tartan...

Not impossible, although I have a rather nice looking modern metallic red one here at home which is tempting to replicate.


PS: I've had to scrub back the cockpit glazing (again), so I doubt this will be done by the SA Plastic Model Expo on the 11th & 12th, but I'll try &, maybe, see if I can sneak a thermos in.

The McDonald was one, and I believe they did a Campbell as well, but there was a legal case brought against them by the Court of the Lord Lyon, and they were all withdrawn, a great pity.

Eldest daughter & grandsons are due to arrive in about an hour, so close to zero chance of model work for the next few days.

Then it's into Expo prep mode, &, as I don't think I'm going to get this finished in time, I'll probably put her on the back-burner until I get more free time - I'm not going to rush the finish.
