Radish

All hand-painted, although if it's silver or all black I tend to use Halfords car sprays.

The Israeli F-8E is weathered with pencil, but the Canadian and RN versions are done with washes, repainted bits and drybrushing. My current F-8 project, the Pakistan RF-8E, used as a supplement attack aircraft with cannon, and 4 x underwing pylons (as well as a tactical recon role with a canera pod under the nose) is all heavily weathered matt-black via a can of car primer. Decals/badges from an old SAM decal sheet freebie.

I must admit, the part I probably like the most about modelling is the weathering/decals/finishing, but I also (of course) enjoy other things too.

I'm "playing" with an ESCI 1/48th MiG-27 at the moment and it'll end up as a Scottish Union Air Force (SUAF) Mic Coyne MiC-27. I've not worked out what to do to it properly yet, just a bit of "tweaking" most likely, although the cockpit and u/c bays need a full detail that'll be fun. Also, the underwing tanks on the MiG will become moveable so as to enable the wings to sweep during flight.
Colour scheme? Don't know, but probably something in the multi-grey sector, with occasional bits of green and purple (heather) most likely. Not sure yet.
I haven't devised a story either yet, but then I've a few car journeys and work to think/mull that over.
Hopefully, next week I can get the bulk "sorted" by next weekend.

The camera......taking pictures but haven't "done" anything with them yet!
Sorry!
I'll ask Midi to "chastise" me later

For those who weren't there, thats the WIf stand on the right with Nick leaning on the aileron.  Pretty cool location huh?  B)

Nick was very good leaning on ailerons.

The bacon butties were nice.
Hopefully it'll be warmer in August, but then again, we're talking South Yorkshire here so just two sets of thermals, OK.
