Yes, but it's still a shame that it has to be caged to protect it from the said "eejits".

I can remember being in Holland in the very early 60's with a schoolmate who's mum was Dutch, visiting an army firing range (the red flag wasn't flying) and it was littered with old Shermans and as 10 year olds were were almost expected/invited to clamber all over them.  But then they wern't museum or memorial pieces.
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

Sorry Jon but you are wrong.  Having stood there and looked at it I can tell you that the cage did interfere with my observation of the vehicle.  The mesh is made of relatively thick, grey coloured metal in small squares and is close to the tank.  You can't appreciate it as a whole with this grid overlay.
If it was thinner, darker, bigger squares and further from the tank it would be an improvement but IMO it would still be intrusive.

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.  Revelling in numptytism.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed, badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry.

But also more easily cut, or able to be reached through to 'souvenir' parts...
