It just dawned on me that this looks exactly like some of the types of things that "AI" comes up with when it generates images of aircraft!

Today i have coated the silver with MARABU clear mat, so i can start tomorrow with some Vallejo color.

And a dirt washing plus some red parts.

I mixed  the washing in semi glossy and think i can put the decals direct on it without one more clear paint?

It looks much darker on the pix than in real.

I hope the decals will work, they look very good for their age of +50 years

That looks bloody good mate ..shame it's not that dark ..it looks like chrome black

And now with decals on,  the with colored seems much stronger than black... ( which broke apart ).
