i will step away from the fruit.... one mo! its a goodly pile. 

the Chally 2 is in it major assembly's so has been undercoated.  grey using the last of my old halfords primer,  it will be hycote tins from now on.  the paint is practically dry on returning to the house, but the longer chain hydrocarbons are still evaporating ( well i can still smell them, ergo they are still).  So i will be stating on the colour coating tomorrow now 
going reasonably well at the mo still.

so that eternal question
the correct colour for British armour.  if i was feeling particularly twitchy on this one id do it in Caunter  and then giggle at the faces.  I have a spare chally 1 that i may do that on,  i dont feel like riffing Berlin block on this one, thats was a whif that became real with the street fighter programme. 
So just green with black stripes.  a quick trip to scalemates and the Mr colour becomes either Tamiya XF5 or XF61   and there is a lot of difference between the 2 shades, and depending on the picture im looking at in my various Tankograd books it could be either or neither 
so i think i will go with the darker XF61 and then large Nato Black stripes and be content
