The Merk arrived today.

It's nice: detail is crisp and plentiful, right as far as I can tell, and the sprue gates are very fine. Tracks are in six sections of hard plastic on each side, so even easier than link'n'length. The dangling anti-RPG chains under the bustle are moulded in three sections, so very easy, although it takes away the option of having them do anything except hang straight down.

One thing that's noticeably missing is the towing chain (not a cable) shown on the box art attached to fittings on the front hull, although for £14, that's an observation, not a criticism.

One of the little "cages" that sit on the back of the hull has been damaged by the sprues being very tightly packed in the plastic bag.

Something I never fully appreciated before is how the Merk's thick turret front armour goes right up and over the roof. The hatches are on the back edge of this structure, and they're about a foot thick! Must offer excellent anti-top-attack/anti-drone protection.

Overall, very pleased for the price. In fact I'd be perfectly satisfied with the quality if it had been £6 dearer, I just probably wouldn't have bought it.

Good for FIBUA, too.

I have just finished building the HIMARS kit in 72nd scale, and  what a nice Kit it was to build. All. Parts fit perfectly, no flash and hardly any fiddly little parts. I can definitely recommend this kit.
