The pose in that photo gives me a 'Cars' movie echo...
Maybe a WW2 version of Herbie, with eyes and a grin?
And a Monocle. Maybe a Cigarette holder...

Yes! I like the way you think.

Now it depends whether I want to try and source a 1/25 model (which will be an 'only child' in my collection), just for the one joke... ;D

There is a resin conversion kit to convert the Tamiya 1/24th scale Bug into a split-window bug.
It's only $70.00

'Only'... yeah, no thanks. ;D

With all the parts you have to replace, it would have been easier to have made a complete kit and saved you all the bother...

I was just thinking that.  What's left?  Engine, chassis and suspension, front bulkhead (what would be called a firewall normally), and the under bonnet area.

Bonnet and Tyres too. So yeah, not a lot. :banghead:

This is interesting: Meng have started a range of 1/72nd scale armour, and it's reasonably priced, at least by modern standards:

The Abrams is showing out of stock but, if you backorder, it's only £11.69   ;)

Not for me, though, I'll stick to 1/35, thanks! ;D

I have the HIMARS in 72 nd scale, looks a nice little kit, and as Weaver says reasonably priced considering other options.

£13.99 is a easonable  price nowadays. Not my period though.
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

Weaver

I've ordered the Merk. I'll do an in-box review when it arrives (be a bit silly doing it before, wouldn't it?)
