Heyo Alls

Well they eventually let me out today and I sit here with my right foot detached from my leg, held in place by a bar piercing the ankle and wires attached to cranellated screws (I think they called them) and, being awake for the entire op, I was able to advise the doc on how to unstick a jammed drill bit from my bone without breaking it.
They gave me my last dose of morphine around 2.30pm so if this sounds and looks liked somthing posted by someone stoned outta their head, I probly still am.
Any way back to the reason were here, yet another step forward in the design where the engines are mounted under and over fashion like the Lightning with the cockpit ahead pod and boom fashion.

As I said I`m not totally aware yet and have just realised that the cockpit scales out at only 2foot wide so will need to be made of 3/4inch tube like the engines. Don`t know why yet but I am considering makeing this from square or rectangular tubing and maybe some perspective style drawings may help here.
not much input from yourselves yet-come on critique welcomed for a change.

SPECIAL REQUEST
will someone please put me out off my misery and tell me where the 109- Wookie reference comes from?

regards all Gary :dalek:

Going on Sci-fi references again with your DbyC/2 designs, it's funny that one of them reminds you of Thunderbird 4 as the one above it reminds me of Battlehawk from Thunderbirds:

I've got some ideas for you, but it might take a while as I might have to draw them!  One thing I can mention is rather than wheels how about retractable skis in fairings?
I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

Hiya Mossie,
At last a suggestion rather than a comparrisson. I have considered skids but only on the `outrigger` positions. If I use skids for the main undercart it will have the same restrictions as the Me163 upon landingand need a cure as per the 263.
But thanks for the imput, and keep `em coming.

If memory serves, there's a guy over on Hyperscale named Wookie who loves Me-109s.
Now go get some sleep. :)

Hi All
As nobody seems really that keen on inputting to the drawings I have started to cut plastic and go for it. Perhaps when you see in 3d that may raise your interest and prevoke comments (at least it has in the past). At present I`m using parts from 3 different manufacturers and can foresee a long bout of Sun Sea and Sanding. Will post some pics when my daughter has finished with the camera.
regards Gary :dalek:

Admin` please note I`ll be posting next on the show us your workbench etc  so if you want to move this there please feel free.

Sorry Gary, I started to draw my ideas but then remembered why I don't do it very often, I'm crap at it!  My ideas were for more conventional layouts, I'll see if I can find pics of the aircraft that inspired me.
