When I repaired my broken P-38W 1/72 (https://www.whatifmodellers.com/index.php?topic=50711.0 ), I did not install back the push-pull group that I have found as miscellaneous broken parts:

Its destination may be a Boulton-Paul P.99 (Unicraft Models 1/72) I built in 2018 as a glider or powered by mental force. Propellers and pistons may help.

Here are the receiver together with its future engines, that I will try to put on top of the fin:

With glue, waiting to dry, hoping this will be solid enough... :-\ ;)

The basis was a single-sat pusher (P.99, never built scale 1, with booms from the wing, 1 engine, 1/72) that I whiffed into the P.99B of mine (with many passengers and booms from the pod, no engine, 1/100) and now I am making the P.99C (with many passengers, booms from the pod, 2 huge engines, 1/100).

Gluing was a success and not very fragile it seemed but I decided to add 2 little supports on the top of the fin, to prevent self breaking if a window is open with some wind going in the room... :-\ ;)

Fred

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

So bizarre it's quite likely that B-P really did it!
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Thanks a lot!
The most crazy part was from P.99 to P.99B in 2018 at https://www.whatifmodellers.com/index.php/topic,45059.0.html
Here, from P.99B to P.99C, I am just adding crazily big engines (1/72nd ones on 1/100th model)... :-\ ;D

Here is the comparison between the true (but unbuilt scale 1) P.99 and my fantasy P.99C: ;)

On a shelf of mine, overcrowded with little sky blue models, only one is standing high now: the push-pull of the P.99C! ;) "this is the top!"

Now all has changed position, as the shelves are now mainly for books (my books but my wife's decision). The P.99C still is above all the others with its pair of engines, it is even touching the sky (the ceiling)... ;)
