Not sure if anyone's interested in this but Moebius are working on a Jupiter 2 from Lost In Space (not sure of scale but it's 18inches in diameter) and a 1/350th scale version of their Seaview sub from Voyage To The Bottom Of The Sea.
News is from Cult TV Man. http://www.culttvman2.com/dnn/Features/New...84/Default.aspx

Also a piccy of the Green Goblin and Spiderman test shots on Hobby Talk. http://www.hobbytalk.com/bbs1/showthread.php?t=252303

Think I am happy with the PL version of the J2 but the 1/350th Seaview should be more manageable.

Now, if they would do he Moonbus and Disney version of the Nautilus.

Some news from the Wonderfest show.
Moebius has bought the kit license for the new series Battlestar Galactica. First will be the Mk.II Viper in 1/32nd to match the Revell/Monogram kit, then the Galactica, Cylon Raider, Mk.VII Viper and possibly a Raptor. News comes from Frank Winspur of Moebius himself.
The Spiderman and Green Goblin kits are expected in the US in July at $25 each.
They are doing a new resin kit of Conan called Conan 100:Death of Belit, I assume this is based on the 100th Conan comicbook cover. Wish they'd do these as styrene kits.
At the show Moebius were selling a new version of the Iron Man kit moulded in transparent red plastic.
Some of this was via Starship modeler posts Discussion  and the CultTV man site. http://www.culttvman2.com/dnn/

Just got a message from the Cult TV Man shop that Moebius are releasing the Aurora 2001 Moonbus in March 2010!!
I thought the mould was lost in a train wreck. http://www.culttvman2.com/dnn/

Got the same message and I for one am looking forward to this.  I can just hear all the kit collectors moaning about this.  Expect to see a few of the Aurora kits show up on ebay between now and March as they try to cash in before the general population know.

It is possible the molds were destroyed.  Think they have been doing some reverse engineering over there like Revell has with the Tom Daniels autos.

Now, if they would repop the Sealab...

Thought the same as you about the reverese engineering possibility Phil. I'd love to get the Sea Lab and a new Disney Nautilus too.

SaintG on Starship Modeler has posted pics of a test shot of the Moebius 1/32nd Colonial Viper MkII from new Battlestar Galactica.

Still think it looks like somebody melted a classic Viper but it does look like a good kit.

Pegasus is promising a 1/144th Nautilus for next year. Not sure if it is 100% Disney, but it has good steampunk styling:

Mossie

It's not the Disney version, the styling is similar, but the details are different.  The most notable one is the long ram on the nose, rather than the sawtooth that was used to wreck ships on the Disney version.
I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

Mossie

I picked up the Moebius 1/8 Iron Man kit last week which I'll be building for my brother as a birthday pressie, it's a nice looking kit.  The only problem with Moebius kits here in the UK is that they are expensive, this was £30 (US$45), whereas it's US$30 (£20) in the US.

Some reviews & builds:
Review on IPMS USA
Review on Swanny's Models with lighting kit
Builds of Iron Man & other Moebius & Monarch kits on The Clubhouse with resin Tony Stark heads

I'll be building it up very soon.

That Nautilus is going to look awesome next to my 1/128 Seaview.
