Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed, badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry.

If folks ever wondered about the wing design with all those openings in the leading edge,
from what I've read they're intakes for a ramjet system similar to that proposed for the
English Electric P.10.

Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

The Galaxy Chevys are nice kits.  I've not built or got any but kept meaning to get one or more.   I did get hold of an engine from one - they all had the inline six cylinder - which was nice.
Moebius repopping them will make them more widely available an it is thus likely one or more will join all the other unbuilt Moebius kits in my stash.

I remembered your comments about the Roden Packard Clipper and how it might make a good lead sled if it was in 1/25. Thought that might apply to this Chevy.

It does.  One could really go to town.

If those Galaxie originals are as well made as their incredible race car trailers, they're WINNERS!

I wonder if Moebius have the trailer moulds too????
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

You'd think so.

Wouldn't you? So why don't they re-pop them, they're wonderful!

Having said that I've still not completed my build of one, and I started it in 2018! :(

From the sound of the thread I linked, they're heavily tasked trying to get some car models out.

Talking of which, they've just announced a couple of 64 Mercury Comets on the same forum, I assume they're updates to the 65 Comet:

I prefer the wheels on the white one better.
