Now you've done it. Alvis is probably thinking 'water bomber'!

Coming along smartly Martin!

But am I the only one looking at that nose gear and intake arrangement who can't stop the acronym FOD! from screaming in my brain?  :o

Looks Lovely.

I hear so many mixed reports about Anigrand I have been a bit hesitant about purchasing some. Even though they have subjects that I want to model.

Looks like I might have to get a couple and have a bash.

Get this Cheese to sick bay!

QuoteI hear so many mixed reports about Anigrand I have been a bit hesitant about purchasing some. Even though they have subjects that I want to model.

Well it depends on the model and how it breaks down, many of the anigrand kits used original vacforms and inherited whatever flaws the vacform possed in some cases. This has led to some of the unfavorable reviews passed by some.

Generally they are good models of interesting aircraft that would not usually see. The newer ones have improved as the skills in mastering and moulding have increased. Later ones tend to included lug & hole to aid placement of the larger parts.

The best thing to do is check the forum to see if we have or built the models your interested in and get honest opinions from us lot first. Afterall they still aren't cheap even when ordered direct from Anigrand.

Cheers

That is one good looking build Martin. Looking forward to seeing the rest.

She's coming on nicely Martin, going to do mine in either white or two tone grey I think.

And Sisko with ref to Anigrand's quality, I concur with Geoff the newer ones are excellent. I've a fair mix of old and new, if your'e after any in particular then ask on the site and someone will probably have seen one.

Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

Its Finaly finished!!!!!!!!

Seen in the markings of the 2nd F.I.S.
I swapped the kit falcons for ones from a Hasagawa weapons set. The kit ones looked more like mavericks to me.
