The Australian's flew the maritime version of the Avro Lincoln Bomber, the one with the longer nose.
What if there had been a delay in the replacement by the Lockheed P-3A Orion and Avro had come up with a compromise for using parts from the Avro Shackleton MR.1 on the Lincoln airframes.
I'm using the Sanger Avro Lincoln Bomber vacuform kit along with the Airfix Avro Shackleton MR.2.
The long nose will be kept but the cockpit moved further forward and the interior parts from the Shackleton along with the wings, engines and landing gear plus the twin tail fins.

There's an interesting article about using the Flightpath Avro Lincoln Bomber conversion set on Britmodeler. I tried following the instructions to the letter but couldn't get the new nose to fit onto the Airfix Avro Lancaster.
Other people have tried using two Lancaster kits to lengthen the fuselage and parts from the Avro Shorts Stirling for the rear gun.
My donor Lancaster will be the B.2 with parts from the Airfix Avro Shackleton MR.2 The Avro Lincoln had side-by-side seats up in the cockpit.
The tail fins will be raised due to the ground clearance.
