I printed 2 sets of tires, 14 in total (I paid for the build plate and I'm going to fill it up, dammit!) Here's Steve considering opening "Steve's Bigfoot Tire Emporium":



The tires are just out of the curing station, so they still have some supports visible and small dings. It's hard to see where the sagged section is, but if I put the tire on a flat surface, it will roll until the sagged section (which is thicker, therefore heavier) is facing down.

Front tire. Some small supports (and dings) are visible.



Rear tire. I had to drill the attachment hole in the back a bit deeper since it was too shallow:



The radial ribbing isn't very visible and not really close to the reat tire, but it's good enough. I used the published dimensions for the Michelin tire compared to the ltaleri tire. I may have used a larger tire dimension, but the Italeri is a scrawny tire any way you look at it:



On the shortened M923a1 chassis:



The back tires are loose and slightly twisted. They are close together, but when pushed onto the axles, they're about 3mm apart. Close, but since they're at a fixed separation I don't think it would be an issue in the real world.

Somehow I've ended up with two parallel truck builds. How did that happen?

3mm in 1/35 is 105mm IRL.  4 inches.  Possibly a little close IMO as the tyres would grow some at speed and also could pick up mud dirt rocks which could foul the other tyre.
More to the point though it just looks too close.

Fred, I think you're right. I'll get a better measurement when I squeeze the tires onto the axles, but they'll be too close. I checked online and the distance between the two tires should be about 5mm in 1/35. I designed the tires with the largest diameter I saw quoted and they're 2mm wider in diameter, so that explains the roughly 3mm gap (instead of 5). I'll have to do some plastic surgery on the axles or supports to spread them apart (I'm not redoing and reprinting the tires) but this truck has already seen plenty of surgery.

Nice prints. I would not want to be paying for that stack of tyres in real world 

Another nod on spreading the axles/axle mounts to get a more aesthetic gap between the wheels. Had to do that before and as you really cannot see behind them without really, really looking, it works.
