That looks really good!

The simple colour scheme & roundels give it a distinct comic book vibe.

Congrats on finishing this one. It looks very plausible. The colors and decals give it a comic kinda vibes.

It does indeed, although maybe not the "Beano"
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.  Revelling in numptytism.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed, badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry.

A BRILL job H!   The colour really works on that shape, and I live the way it fits in with the excellent backstory.

AND I love the very thought  of the 'Rattlesnake' AAMs as well.  ;)
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

This looks incredible!!! Straight out of a 1950's/ 1960's scifi!
Don't let ageing get you down, it's too hard to get back up

Cheers folks, much appreciated as always.

I should emphasise, for the sake of fairness, that this was very simple build, with one colour, no undercarriage and no cockpit interior (beyond the pilot's barely visible head), so I feel like it was fairly low-effort compared to some other entrants who's done three-colour schemes and full interiors.

Things I will/might do later (after the vote):

Definitely another coat of clear to seal the decals (didn't do it yet in case it went wrong at the last minute).

Maybe a few stencils: nothing OTT, just some NO STEPS and/or walkways on the upper wing roots.

Maybe some missiles (I couldn't come up with a credible fantasy missile that was reliably buildable for a 1WkGB).

I regret not putting a white circle behind the chaos arrows on the top of the fin now. However there were only two radially symmetrical black ones on the sheet, so I can't just stick new decals over the old ones without getting another sheet.

That looks reall good. I was skeptical concerning the swept wings, but the "final product" looks really good!

You did a great job converting a meh kit into something spectacular. The swept wings are an improvement over the original delta and it looks great in red.
