Must admit the first time I saw kangaroos in the wild I was suprised just how scary and almost pre-historic some of the males looked.  Only ever seen them in zoos before.
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

My Dad nearly got bowled over by one.
We were down at The Prom (Wilson's Promontory - popular Victorian National Park) when we spotted some Emus.  Dad decided he wanted to get closer to them to take better pics so he went marching off through the long grass towards them.
And suddenly a Roo, which had been laying down unseen in the grass, exploded upwards about a metre in front of him and went bounding off.
I think he needed clean underpants.
