The Sanders-Roe Sea Mist amphibious flying boat used the narrow hull, turboprop engines with contra-rotating, T-tail utilizing the boundary layer control spray suppression similar in appearance to the Japanese Shin Meiwa US-1 but has the front cockpit section from the Breguet Br.1150 Atlantic.
The French connection was an alternative for the Breguet Br.1150 Atlantic if it had cancelled, the Sea Mist had a rotating weapons bay built into the underside of the fuselage, the engines were the General Electric T64 turboprops upgraded to the Rolls-Royce AE-2100J in the year 2000, the contra-rotating propellers changed to 6-bladed Downty ones.
Used for hunting submarines, SAR , troop transportation, scientific research and firefighting.

The build is based on the 1/72 Hasegawa Kawasaki PS-1/US-1 model with the front end of the Revell Breguet Br.1150 Atlantic and spare parts.
Six years in the making and has undergone several design changes.
