Here's a few pics from the National Museum of the United States Air Force. Don't blame me, I didn't name it. We didn't get to spend the whole day there. In my opinion, a person could spend three days there if you wanted to really look at everything. Plus there is stuff still outdoors!

Starting with the YF-23.

My wife and our good friend pretending they are getting on Air Force One to go to Washington and straighten out this mess.

The other side of a T-38 like the one at the airshow. Yes, that's a B-1B butt.

And a Tornado GR something.

A-10 with the old school paint job.

And needs no introduction. But there does appear to be a Sukoi in the background.

There was an Iraqi Mig-25 that I believe was one of the ones dug up out of the sand in 2003.

Shake out the crud, fill her up and light her up, I'd reckon she'll still turn over.  ;D

I did, but DECADES ago now sadly.  I achieved three lifetime ambitions on the same day there, seeing the XB-70 and the F-82, and actually touching a B-36!

Such an elegant shape compared to that angular thing they chose over it. :(

That Tornado's a GR1, it only has one under nose blister.

SUPERB pics, thanks so much for posting them.

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.  Revelling in numptytism.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed, badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry.

Terrific pictures
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

Thanks everyone. There's opportunity for thousands more at that museum.

I've got one somewhere looking up at the XB-70's exhausts.

Because it's backed right up to the hangar door you can only see four of the six ducts, and they're GINORMOUS!  :o
