Oddball Source for .0035" styrene sheet in the US

I like using really thin styrene sheet to fill gaps.  Cram it in, secure with liquid cement and sand it flush.  I even save kit flash in a little tin.  I opened a package of US made Prosciutto and was kind of horrified to see the slices were separated with sheets of PLASTIC, not the  paper I'm used to.  But that plastic had a hard, crinkly feel and sure enough, it melted on contact with Tamiya Airbrush Cleaner.   I slapped a caliper on it and it was 0.0035"/0.0899 mm thick. Just right for sliding into thin cracks, building up mating surfaces and making barely detectable hatches and doors.I'm not happy about plastic being used on a food product, but I'll add the pieces to my toolbox drawer of styrene sheet. And it is REALLY thin!

What's the brand of Prosciutto and store?

Negroni by Pietro Negroni and I think it came from either Grocery Outlet or Trader Joe's. Not bad for inexpensive prosciutto!

Buy prosciutto. Remove styrene plastic separators. Replace with baking paper. Clean & store styrene. 


But I'm NOT going to try getting it delivered to me ... Not sure even the dogs would eat it after that trip.
