Just bought some (supposedly) 3D-printable files for the mechs from Pacific Rim.  These should build up to a good size once completed. Figured I'd start with one of the two fan favorites (if you know, you know).

There are a LOT of parts so this could take a while.  It is a model of a giant mech after all...

It now stands on its own!

And now the shoulders/upper arm sections are attached (well, mostly, had one of the shoulder attachment points snap so it's just kind of sitting on top of the upper arm section).  Everything is dry-fitted at this point just to see how it looks, will need some putty/sanding/painting for sure.  Also I'm probably going to re-print all of the ball joint connector pieces as solid PETG for maximum strength (been using PLA so far).  The PETG I'll be using is black, so it will give the model just a bit of relief from all this grey.
