Round Two of the 2026/2027 GB Subject Poll - pick up to 2. The top 2 will go through to the 2026/2027 GB Season

The Luft'46 80 jarhe GB. As the Luft'46 theme turns 80 this year, why not? There have been a lot of new Luft46 themed kits the last few years,
The Chris's Choice GB - I choose the subject, and I set the rules (no-one else gets a say). Apparently I put a lot of work in and perhaps this would be my reward ? Suggestion by Zenrat
The Sci Fi GB - A proper anything goes Sci Fi GB. Not limited like the lunar vehicles/spacecraft GB.
The Desert GB. Terestrial or non-Terestrial
The Operation Unthinkable GB. The Allied Planning to Cover an Attack on the Soviet Forces in Eastern Europe 1945/46
The Search and Rescue GB (anything to do with search and rescue )

I have just noticed that Chris has put at the end of His Choice GB that it was suggested by Zenrat. Is this an attempt to apportion the blame before we find out what his choice is?

To be fair it's not a terrible idea, I support it... and I'm surprised Chris hasn't done this before off his own bat. He does keep saying "when I rule the world"  ;D

I have a feeling that Chris's choice would involve prop aircraft in the Pacific somehow...  :wacko:

Chris had also suggested a count-back, where the one with the most votes in the previous round would get selected.

Right I don't know about Parting the Red Sea, I couldn't even stop the Bots (or whatever they are) from shutting down the site yesterday  :banghead: .
I intended to close the voting yesterday, as origionaly stated, but it was at that precise moment that the site froze on me. So instead I've closed the voting today, it hasn't affected the result. We had  40 members take part in the voting which is an improvement on recent polls etc, so thank you  :thumbsup:

As a result of the polling the 2026/2027 GB Season will run as follows :

1) The One Week GB 11/7/26 to 19/7/26. Moderated by myself, ably assisted by Kitbasher.

2) The Antipodean/ANZAC GB in in honour of Phil and Brian.. Basicaly anything that has any Australian or New Zealand connection. Runs from 01/08/26 until 31/10/26.

3) The Chris's Choice GB which scored 16 Votes in Round 2 of the poll. Runs from 01/12/26 until 28/02/27.

As for the final GB of the season, we had a tie in Round 2 of the polling, with both the Sci-Fi GB and Search and Rescue scoring 15 votes, and therefore I have decided to use countback to decide the winner.

In Round 1 Sci-Fi scored 11 and Search and Rescue scored 12. Therefore the final GB of the 2026/2027 season will be :

4) The Search and Rescue GB (anything to do with search and rescue ). Runs from 1/04/27 until 30/06/27.

I apologise to any of you who are dissapointed by my use of Countback to come to a decision regarding the 3rd GB of the Season, but if I'm honest I couldn't face the thought of a run-off poll ending in a tie.

As for "Chris's Choice" ? I will explain what that is in a separate post.

So thank you all fro your co-operation during this process.

Or is it #3 or #4, as we already have the 1 Week GB & the Phill/Brian Memorial (Antipodean) GB?  :unsure:
