Decided to come up the night before the show with Dave and Jon (my Telford chums), and make a weekend of it, as we aren't meeting up for RIAT this year. I've asked the museum if they can fit us in, as they are full for traders. They will let me know next week, but even if we don't trade it will be a nice day out.

I've had a verbal confirmation that I have two trade tables for the show. If anyone who is attending is after anything specific, please message me in advance so I can bring it along if I have any in stock.

Im writing this from tonights club meeting. Ref the show next weekend.

The SiG is in the same location and same number of tables as last year. They ask that people attending bring their own chairs if possible.

Colins Freightdog has been mentioned as attending and will be down in the robin hanger along with the clubs.

Gates open for set up from 8am closing around 9:30am to allow for the show to open at 10am.

Kit is picking up the club stand and cloths from me tomorrow so every thing should be in place as normal.

So have fun guys. I will be thinking of you (not) from the beach in Dorset  ;D  ;)
I always hope for the best.
Unfortunately,
experience has taught me to expect the worst.

Your not being a grammar Nazi, you're being a spelling Nazi!

There's a difference!  ;D

However, you could cover all bases by "not wanting to be a literacy Nazi".

Since you're speech-policing what kind of Nazi he is, does that make you a "Nazi Nazi"?  ;D  ;)

Could be! I've never really thought about it, but it's certainly a possibility.  ;D

As a retired teacher, I suppose I OUGHT to be getting out my red pen at this point, but actually I'm quite relaxed about it.  Written language is a means of communicating information, and if it does that I can pardon the odd error.  That said, I wonder rather cynically if this is deliberate marketing;  will everyone go to see what refreashments actually are?

My old English master "Bert" Royall had a similar attitude, although we did disagree over some of my spelling  ;)  He got me through "O" Level English Language at 14 and then Lit' at 16   Thank's sir
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

Thanks for confirming the trade space, Martin. I only had a verbal so reassuring to know.

I've got a bunch of those folding camping chairs: I'll throw them in the car.

If Kit and I cant get something arranged. I know Richard B has his own display setup that is available as well.  Plus he is local to the venue.

Shouldn't be too difficult, we're still back and forth to Finedon quite a bit, and that's very close to your work place.
