Quote from: The Wooksta! on July 04, 2026, 09:36:06 AMDoing that type of camp is labour intensive.  When I did a tiger stripe Ta 152 back in 1996, it took three days.

That is what I have come to realise. So if Chris or another moderator can move this build to Aircraft, please, as I am not going to finish this in time.

Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

I had to take a break as I was going dotty. It probably would have been easier to paint the upper surfaces in green, and then paint aluminum squiggle lines over that, but me being me, I have to do it the hard way and paint the patches of green by hand, probably at least twice and maybe a third time in places. At least it keeps me off the streets.

I've always done it that way as well.  I feel I get a better result as it introduces variation in the distance between panels that you don't get if you do it the other way.

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.  Revelling in numptytism.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed, badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry.

I have decided to work on the second boxing of this kit as well. I am using my mistakes with the first build to reduce the number of problems I have encountered so far. A few more pictures to take once the glue is dry, then I will update.
