It may not have any wings to speak of, but it's a MOST impressive looking model. Good job.
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Capt. Poe? A little Star Wars influence?
Looks really good!

Try Edgar Allan, author of "The Raven" & other works of dark fiction.

I still don't like this aircraft but you've certainly made it look much more interesting than I would have thought possible, Frank!

The iridescent paint & the interference film are pure genius!

Thanks for all the comments! The interference film really adds something to this wingless thing.

The Poe name was in honor of Edgar (since this is a raven black plane) not Star Wars.

Looks fast and dangerous (to the crew as well as the enemy!)

Great work!
Perfect is the enemy of Finished. I presume. I've never achieved either.

sandiego89

Great result! Much thicker/taller than I would have expected.

Well done on a difficult kit!

Also Poe's Law

Poe's law needs a corollary. No mater how extreme and ridiculous or falsely a science fact or theory is presented, someone will accept it as truth.

I posted this over at BtS, but I'm working on a 1/35 drone version of this. It'll be about 180mm/7" long. At 6.3m, it'll be a smallish vehicle. The FSW are for extra lift and can be detached. A lot of details are missing, but I'm going to try a quick and dirty FDM print this week:
