The driver & the Boss know where they're going.

The goobers in the back were too busy getting smashed on hash to bother attending the pre-mission briefing.

And they're posing for the news crew filming them...

Almost done - just needs a few extra details:

I didn't weather the vehicle as much as I had in mind, but this looks OK:

Do we know if it's a Clan Tartan or purely a generic one ?
Clan McZink
🤣

You cannot view this attachment.

Of course, seeing as the entire "Clan Tartan" thing is a 19th century Sassenach invention that's
been pushed by purveyors of tartan tat and pseudo-genealogical coats of arms, family histories etc.,
it can be called plain old plaid.

I'm done with this one, and so are our happy friends, somewhere in Afro-Asia.

I bent a strand of plastic fiber optic and attached it to the FPV drone and left fender. I tried a using a cat whisker shed by one of our cats, but it wasn't strong enough to hold up the drone:

With the fiber optic strand photoshopped out:

The commander/boss man spotted the drone - the driver just registered it in his peripheral vision. The goobers in back are blissfully unaware:

The FPV drone is 3D printed from  SPALAH "FPV drone Mark (7inch) with battery and suspension"

It's very detailed. I painted the batteries light blue, with black electrical tape holding it to the drone. The 3D print even has the camera in the nose. The mortar round is painted in some variant of Russian green:

Pretty tiny on my index finger.

Oo, that's going to leave a mark... not sure it'll buff out as easily as all that...  ;D

You may have started a trend in dioramas/vignettes...

Nice touch though; it has a little more impact (sorry) than just the vehicle careening around on a base.

Great finish, Frank!

Detail on that drone is exceptionally good!

If it aint broke ,,fix it until it is .
Over kill is often very understated .
I know the voices in my head ain't real but they do come up with some great ideas.
Theres few of lifes problems that can't be solved with the proper application of a high explosive projectile .

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.  Revelling in numptytism.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed, badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry.
