I don't think anyone paid any attention to the event itself.  The question on most people's lips was "Why did you have a large mahogany double wardrobe with you in the first place?"

It was Dave's idea on how to keep a low profile...................  ;)

I'll add my thanks to TomZ for all of his effort in pulling all this together! Well done, that man!

To all those who achieved Whiffie glory this year, I offer my sincerest congratulations!

To the rest of us who failed to achieve glory, well, we all know how difficult the voting was, there is no shame in this!  ;)  ;)   :drink:

Thank you all very much for your votes — I truly did not expect this!

My sincere thanks go to the award committee, and of course to my amazing team. This model would never have been possible without their support and dedication.

It's not just the voting getting harder. But so is trying to come up with new and fantastic model build ideas that will wow the audience and win a Whiffie.
Modeling isn't just about how good the gluing or painting, etc. looks. It's also about how creative and imaginative you can be with a subject.
My modeling philosophy is: Don't build what everyone else has done. Build instead what nobody has seen or done before.

Another year of modelling mayhem in the books, with congratulaions to all the winners and participants. And as usual, the BIGGEST THANKSgoes to TomZ for his great work in organising the event!

Thanks Tom.  You did well.
Thanks everyone here for being part of the best modelling forum on the interwebs.

Sorry about your suit Tom, but it's never a good idea to stand next to me at the urinal if you are wearing suede...

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed, badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry.

I hate to break it to you but that wasn't the urinal but the fountain on the front lawn........
Lucky for you that the crocodile was absent at that moment.

Well done everybody - an excellent crop of models.

Thanks to Tom for doing his usual sterling job of organizing it all, and also for making me LOL with this:
