To misquote Crocodile Dundee 'That's not 'large-scale', THAT'S large-scale! There's a guy in the Gloucester Model Boat Club who's building a 1/72 scale RC model of CVA-01!

OK, it's not 3D printed, it's all done trad model boat wise, fibreglass hull from a timber male mould etc, with styrene decks, islands and lifts etc. but it's BIG!

Well you know what Benny Hill says about liking them big  Hope it doesn't go the way of all these RC planes Yootub keeps throwing at me and sinks on its first voyage.

Would love to see a CVA-01 in 1/700 myself...

I've just found there is a printable British Power Boat Company MGB available... in 1/24, but it can be scaled down.
And I recently got the framing parts for one laser-cut in ply... 
Ah well, we'll see what I decide to do when I get the urge to build it...
