Painting of the Super Monsoon and Spiteful going into Turbo Mode!  :o

Thinking through the stages left I realise I probably won't finish.  But i'll still give it a go.

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.  Revelling in numptytism.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed, badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry.

The paint for my Spiteful and Super Monsoon is drying on the brush before it reaches the model!  :banghead:  :banghead:

I'd hoped to get one of them done before the Coventry Show on Sunday, but that's most unlikely now. :(

Hopefully just one small patch of filler required on my build. Glad I have a very basic colour scheme

Two are almost ready for the primer to be applied, the Douglas Gremlin and the Avro Tauton. I'm doing them in batches of two now that I have found most of the parts so I can finish them over the weekend.

Well that's five of the six that have been rattle-canned with black gloss Tamiya acrylic paint on their undersides. Erm I'm not going to have enough white paint for the upper surfaces unless I raid the paint box and come up with something experimental which means that the Shorts Windermere gets removed.

Found three other patches that needed more filler. One of them was due to my sanding the filler before it had fully cured  :banghead:

My resin kit has finally arrived!!! Hopefully I can get it built and painted by the deadline. Can you tell what it is yet?
Don't let ageing get you down, it's too hard to get back up

Just realised my spelling was wrong but both ring true for that tiny fuel of nightmares!

Still hoping to get my build finished, if only the weather cools down a tad.
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

McColm

Propellers have been fitted to all of my builds but not the correct ones that came with the original kits. The bomb bay doors have been fitted to the Lockheed B-30 Excalibur II and main wheel doors on the Douglas Skyliner GR.1.
I found a pot of Heller Coal Black paint and have been touching up the cockpit windows and lumpy parts, plus the tyres.
Some of the decals have come off as I have been handling the builds, they will be replaced in due course. The weathered look wasn't intentional but it seems to work.
