Well as you can see here my 3D printer is back in business...

You cannot view this attachment.

The hull in the foreground is that of an M706 Commando, while to the side of it is another Cadillac Gage product.  I'll let everyone guess what the other turret and hull belong to....

More to follow, eventually hoping to have nine or ten vehicles total.

Well the "other CG product" is a Stingray light tank.

Don't know about the other tank. The hull looks like an M48, but the turret looks very different.

Actually it's not an M48 hull, but that is a good guess.  Actually the hull is an M103A2.  The turret is a T110E6 turret, the T110 being a design study done primarily as a fail-safe against the possible failure of the M103.  Certain video games have taken quite a bit of creative license with the T110 study, but this turret is more or less what the sixth iteration of the design would have looked like if it had been built.  In fact the E6 was the only T110 design iteration to have a turret, all the others were casemate designs I believe.

This is one of the artist's sketches of it.

My goal here is to dress these vehicles up with a bunch of field mods as well as mixing and matching features.  The M103A2 will be a mostly standard vehicle but some extra stuff may find its way on top of the turret.  The T110E6 will have a hull
very similar to the M103, but with steeply angled flat frontal armor plates like in the photo above in place of the round, cast frontal hull plates of the M103.  I'm also planning to print a T30 heavy tank, and a different T110 variant as well - that is once I get more filament!  The M706 is getting the Bradley turret in case it wasn't obvious, and I've got a second M706 hull that will either get a twin 50 cal turret of some kind or perhaps the turret of an M163 VADS.  I'm open to suggestions on it.  As to what my goal is for the appearance of some of these vehicles, I'm using some of the more plausible 3D styles from World of Tanks as reference material.  Here's a couple photos of the T30 and T110 to show what I mean:

I won't be following these photos exactly, but this should give some idea of the direction I'm going with them.

I do like the Commando with a Bradley turret - hmm, and it so happens I have one of each spare...

Interesting...

The V-150 with an M-163 VADS was a real thing, getting at least as far as a prototype. I don't know if any were actually produced:

Well that's definitely helpful!  Looks like they decided to put the ammunition on the side of the turret, interesting choice for sure.  Just by looking at it, I'm guessing they didn't have much choice given the limited volume within the hull.

I think the reason the ammo is on the side is that it's a straight-up transplant of the rotating mass of the M167 towed VADS onto the V150, rather than the turret of the M163.

That image came from a Saudi language site here: https://defense-arab.com/vb/threads/178291/
(The translate function on my browser (Firefox) did a pretty good job on it)

The Saudi National Guard was the single largest customer for the V150, and according to that site, at least 20 VADS conversions were done for them.

Made up an MQM-57 Falconer recon drone to be printed and attached to one of the vehicles.  Likely going to be attached in stowed form (disassembled), but I might just put it together and give it a little launcher on top of a HT turret, who knows?

I haven't a CLUE what you're talking about...............  :-\
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

I used to, but the wait for games was too long & I don't want to have to wait for two teams of players to form.

Plus the games were getting too "gamy", with tiny little pea-shooter wheeled vehicles having far too much punch & speed.

I tend to play more World of Warships now (British & Commonwealth focus in my fleet). Set up your ship, click "BATTLE" & 30-to-60 seconds later you're playing.

WoT was; set up the tank, click "BATTLE", wait .... wait .... wait .... wait .... wait .... Sorry, you have timed out, try playing a different level.
