I can definately recommend this one, and they've just issued the P-36 variant. I've the Mustang, P-39 and a couple of Hurricanes in the stash and one of them will come out post Telford.

PS. If I am recalling correctly, I think in the real world the Polish did order some Brewster fighters, but Poland fell before construction even started. It would be cool to see a Brewster in Polish colors alongside your H-75 build

As for the Brewsters ? I'll look into that, mind you it doesn't matter if they did or not, it would still make an interesting build.

Never heard about Buffalos for Poland (Belgium ordered some, went to UK) , AFAIK there was a planned procurement for Hurricanes (which went to Turkey).

Here is one reference to a potential Polish order for the Brewster fighter and I have seen other references to such an order elsewhere, but I am tryng to track down a more primary source.

I've built a Polish Hurricane Mk I, and a Defiant and Spitfire. Was musing on a Polish Blenheim Mk I the other day, but thought whilst most of their ideginous fighters were slightly "behind the times" a lot of their bomber types were more modern.

A captured Polish Bv 141 would make for an interesting exercise in asymmetry.

They'd probably apply the 'squarals' at the SAME position on each wing, that would really screw up your eyes!

Very nice.

The Polish 7.92mm Mauser wz36 machine gun would easily fit in the fwd. fuselage in place of the .30-06 or .303 Brownings or the French 7.5mm MAC34. The gun bay was sized to take the .50 AN/M2 Browning. The wz36 would probably also fit in the wings. It would give the fighter a bit more oomph than either of the smaller caliber Brownings.
23mm Madsen cannon in underwing pods were also an option, but they were very detrimental to performance. The 23mm was a variant of the Madsen 20mm which had been evaluated by Poland.

One other point about the wz 36,
it was the standard fixed MG on
Polish aircraft in 1939.

Perhaps because it's reminiscent of the PZL.37A bis Łoś?
