Ah, OK, thanks Chris. That was a pity then.
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Nothing stopping you making one that got to the prototype stage, of course...  ;)
P-40 style retracting gear, into gondolas if the wing isn't thick enough.

Not much room for anything too large in the way of armaments, but at that time they were often .30s anyway.
