Scottish enthusiasts build a replica Sopwith Strutter.  25 years in the building, it's now flying!

It  means that you read  the instruction sheet

Slow and steady does it! Hope to see the Sopwith fly one day.

That inspector chappie must have been REALLY confident they'd built it properly, being the first pilot of it as well.

That attitude's always impressed me, how a test pilot has the courage to fly the very first example of a new design, and who knows what screw ups the design team may have made?

At least in this case Mr. Sopwith got it right back in the day.............  ;D
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)
