It looks good! The lamp in the background looks like a space station

Question, if I may?

Did you invent the Rebans or are they an official part of the Perry Rhodan universe?

The reason I ask is that I tried looking them up and found nothing except your threads here. However Internet coverage of Perry Rhodan is, to say the least, patchy, so I wasn't sure if I was just missing it.

The Rebans are a piece of fan fiction I created within the Perry Rhodan universe. Since they're my own invention, you won't find much about them online—just a few forum posts where I'm active.

If you're curious to learn more, I've shared some details on my website: https://www.scratchbaer.de/scifi-models/rebans/

As Perry Rhodan is a German sci-fi series, most of the available material is in German. The U.S. edition was discontinued quite some time ago.

The idea for the Rebans actually came from a model-building project. I once built a cutaway model of the Kaulquappe KC-11, one of the spaceships from the series: Kaulquappe KC-11

I wanted to share the STL files of that model for free, but unfortunately the publisher didn't grant permission—maybe they didn't quite understand what I was asking, or perhaps I shouldn't have asked at all.
So instead, I came up with my own characters and spacecraft—the Rebans. They're set in the Perry Rhodan universe in spirit, but without using any of the official ships or content. Their designs are based on a little engineer I often use in my pictures 😊

I've even come up with a backstory for how the Rebans were "discovered" by humans. Though I'm not sure my writing skills are quite up to turning it into a full story—at least not yet!

They're a GENIUS idea, and you should be proud of them.

Most of us here just invent various aircraft, tanks, ships & cars etc that never actually existed, you go and invent an entire RACE!  :o

Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Regards
Kit

Excellent! I suspected as much but wasn't sure if I was missing something. Well done!

Continue to work on the lander/crew modules/shuttle, whatever you might call it.

First, taking the simple test model and add some paint to see how this would look like. I guess I will go to a "Space Shuttle" style here.

But I do not like the appearance of it, so a new version which looks a bit more "Reban". For example, the cockpit section of it is a but similar to the little spacecraft of the FTL ship.

Rocket engines are mounted in the wings, and at the stern, the landing legs are places as the ship will land vertically.

I think this is the way to continue, the model has to be enhanced a bit. On the lower part of the hull, the head shield can be seen. The Vehicle will re-enter the atmosphere like a Space Shuttle, glide down and then male a Starship-like belly-flop to land.

Yeah, I like the second one, too, but I'd try for a different paint scheme, so there's no suggestion of "Human influence" (although, I suppose, "convergent design" may work).

Second design does look good
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

Gondor

Surely you mean that the little craft on the FTL ship looks similar to this ship <_<

I like the second one too.

Depending on how real-world you want to be, there's an argument for moving the wings lower on the body and having the rocket engine "pods" entirely above the wings. Both of these mods would make for a better, smaller and less complicated heatshield surface on the underside, with less danger of aerodynamically induced hotspots.

Paint schemes are pretty much dictated by physics: any ablative heatshield material is going to be black, and it's an advantage for pretty much any spacecraft to be white to minimise solar heating.

If you want to avoid a Space-Shuttle lookalike effect, consider this: there has been at least one real world example of (I kid you not) a heatshiled made of very dense wood, and it performed surprisingly well! You could give the Reban homeworld a tree or plant with an unusually dense structure and use that as an excuse to have a brown heatshield. Combine that with a degree of active cooling, and you might have black radiators on the topside of the wings and fuselage, which would look pretty different.

I disagree, NASA flew the X-15 in a Pink ablative material, which then had a white sealant over the top of that.

Hmm, a wooden heat shield....? This sounds Reban technology :)
Have to try this on one of the tests prints I made.
