This is a kitbash based on the 1/72 Italeri Lockheed SR-71A-B Blackbird kit. It has a few additional parts from a 1/72 Su-47 and was a contender for one of the 2024-2025 GBs until I withdrew it as I wasn't able to finish on time. Inspiration taken from the Lockheed A-12-Canard and RB-12 concepts.
However this build seems to fall into the STREET LIGHT Project based on the American LAMP LIGHT proposal.
Tamiya acrylic primer has been rattle canned onto the upper fuselage with my attempt at using a hairy brush with white enamel paint. The underside has a matt black paint scheme with filler in places.
The three seat arrangement will be increased allowing for the extra crew requirements in the AEW spec once the radome has been fitted,
This aircraft was based in Antarctica hence the ski configuration for the landing gear.

Thanks, this means that I'm going to have to finish this with a cool paint scheme.

The radome has been glued on as seen in the photo. It came from a 1/72 Falcon Triple conversion set which included the Lockheed EP-3E Aries parts. Not new but recycled.

The circular radome has been changed to the one used on the Grumman Hawkeye.
