Ah, I see. If you still like the end result let me know, perhaps we can work something out. I will say this though, I'm sort of making it up as I go on this one. Even though I modeled the basic aircraft there are some details that I am adding after the fact. The canopy was originally supposed to be more rounded like the Bell concept, but that went out the window when I couldn't get clear plastic to bend to my will

Beautiful job on the print and the build!
Will it be some variation in grey or something more unusual?
This reminds me to start on my Cheyenne helicopter and Osprey bash. The difficult part again is the bulged canopy that the old kit doesn't provide.

Was originally thinking grey honestly. When I get round to doing the earlier version though, it'll probably be a camo scheme.

They were printed separately, so the engines and props are free to rotate (well, the engines were free until I added a lip to the underside of the mating surface to prevent the props from pointing downward).

I think I'm going to put this one on hold for a bit, something about the M230 chain gun doesn't feel right on a USMC craft. Maybe if I can print an M197 in a turret...

A 3 barrelled gattling gun would suit it for sure.
